Camellia japonica 'Lady Clare'
Formerly named Akashigata, this camellia was imported to the United Kingdom from Japan in 1977 and renamed Lady Clare.
It is a fast-growing specimen of wide, weeping habit, with bright, deep pink blooms that appear early- to mid-season. Very cold hardy.
