Yeddo is one of about 15 species of what is now called Indian Hawthorn. Because the genus originated in warm temperate and subtropical eastern and southeastern Asia, it thrives in southeastern USA, where it is a horticultural mainstay, even at altitudes where winters can be cold.

This dwarf species with a mounding habit.                                                                Dwarf Yeddo can be used to fill beds or trimmed into a small compact hedge.
