Pyrus pyrifolia 'Nijiseiki' (20th Century)
Nijiseiki is self fruitful producing a medium fruit of excellent quality. This fruit is sweet with a mild flavor. Nijiseiki bears heavily and ripens in mid August - September. The fruit is a greenish yellow in color. Good for fresh eating and canning.
