Malus pumila Standard 'Red Delicious'
One of the most perfectly named. Plump, bright red fruit with crisp, juicy flesh. Stored properly keeps well into mid-spring.
High yielding, fast growing and very hardy. Ripens September. Good for fresh eating.
Note: Semi-dwarf apple trees grow 15' tall. The Standard trees grow to about 30'. Requires 700-800 chill hours.
