R. Anthodendron x S. Indica 'President Clay'
President Clay is one of the Southern Indian hybrid group, all of which are hardy and superior plants in the North Carolina region.
These flowering shrubs bloom in early spring (March). Its single flowers have 5 or more petals that are 2 1/4" in diameter. This tall upright shrub. It is a moderate grower (at the rate of about 3-10 " per yr.)
