Camellia japonica 'Magnoliaeflora'
Though Magnoliaeflora has long been accepted as the European name of this pristine pink camellia, there can be no doubt that its Japanese name of Hagoromo has priority among serious collectors because the plant has been recorded by that name as far back as 1695. Hagoromo means 'feathered robe'; which in Japanese folklore is the traditional raiment of an angel.
Blush-Pink Blooms appear in Mid-season.
