Deutzia gracilis 'Nikko'

Nikko Deutzia is an outstanding, low-growing flowering shrub introduced by the U.S. National Arboretum in the late 1980s. It is a graceful, low-spreading gem with abundant white flowers in spring and attractive, burgundy leaves in autumn. It make an unusual, 2-foot-high ground cover with wide-spreading, cascading branches. An outstanding container plant. It is sun-loving, but in the summer heat of our Zone 7, benefits from afternoon shade. Photo credit: Hort Printers *Deer Resistant*
