The Ostrich is a majestic vase-shaped fern that can grow to 6' tall in moist, moderate climates; in less hospitable areas, to only 2-3'.
Very hardy. Best in woodland or waterside sites, need rich soil, ample water and shade. Spreads slowly by underground rhizomes.
