Elaeagnus pungens 'Fruitlandii'
Elaeagnus (pronounced ñel-ee-ag'-nusî) is a dense, slightly spiny, broadleaf evergreen whose young branches are covered in brown scales.
It has 4" leaves with curled edges, wavy margins, and silver undersides. In the Autumn, this shrub bears pendent, fragrant, silvery white flowers. Matures at 12' high by 15' wide.
