Ilex crenata 'Rotundifolia'
Not to be confused with Ilex cornuta 'Rotunda', which is a Chinese holly with spines, Rotundifolia is a moderately compact, Japanese holly with a shiny, flat, dark-green leaf with no spines.
Responds well to trimming, so makes an excellent hedge.
