Jasminum nudiflorum
For profuse flowers, plant Winter jasmine in full sun. Blossoms resembling Forsythia will appear on bare branches in midwinter to early spring on old wood--so prune between late spring and autumn.
This shrub prefers well-drained soil, but it will succeed in the poorest of soils, even clay.
