Carya illinoinensis 'Stuart'
Type II Comes near being suited to all sections of the country and all soils than any other variety. A large nut, fills out well and is a heavy bearer. Also a fast growing variety. This is an Old-Time favorite.
Note: pecans are not self pollinating. Plant at least two within a quarter mile of each other. Can be the same variety. It takes Type I and Type II to cross pollinate.
