Loropetalum chinense rubrum 'Burgundy' or 'Pizzaz'
Burgundy, or Pizzaz, is one of the two pink flowering loropetalums introduced in the US in 1989. The other was 'Blush,' which we also carry.
Burgundy is the larger of the two, reaching a height of 14'. The addition of the term 'rubrum' to its scientific name indicates that it is a red-leaf variety. Like it's cousin the Blush variety, Burgundy also can be used as a patio tree but does not form up quite so well (per Rodney).
