Quercus phellos
An oval tree with a high, arching canopy is considered a fast grower. The common name reflects the similarity of the leaves to those of weeping willow. Great for providing shade.
Willow oak needs full sun and moist, loamy soil that is well drained. It does not do well in alkaline soil.
