Quercus rubra
This majestic tree, unlike other oaks is a fast grower.
The Red Oak can grow 2' per year over a 10 year period. It's new foliage emerges as Yellow then turns a lovely Green color. Then, in the Autumn, the leaves on this oak change to Russet-red or Bright Red.
This is a native tree. Commonly called Northern Red Oak
