Salix babylonica
The best of the weeping willows with long, gracefully pendulous branches. Fast growth rate.
Its leaves are alternate, narrow and simple. It has invasive roots; avoid planting near water and sewer lines. This tree is one of the first to leaf out in the spring and one of the last to defoliate in the fall. The stems are reddish brown in winter.
Ensure this is planted (at least) 60' feet from water lines, septic tanks, home or wells. The roots will be searching for water.
