Viburnum plicatum tomentosum 'Mariesii'
An improved viburnum tomentosum. The flowers of Mariesii are larger and the branching habit more graceful than the older cultivars. Fall foliage is purple-red.
Flowers in late spring, after dogwoods have already bloomed out.
