Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle'

Rounded, compact, deciduous shrub with long-staked, broadly ovate 7î leaves that are dark green above and paler beneath. Large, spherical 12î corymbs of crowded, dull white, mainly sterile flowers are borne in summer. Matures at 3' high by 5' wide. Requires shaded area in afternoon heat. Deer Resistant Prune Annabelle hydrangea lightly to remove faded flowers after they've bloomed; in early autumn.
