Photinia x fraseri 'Red Tip'

Popular Red Tip Photinia is a densely branched shrub or small tree that is good for hedges or screens. Its shape depends largely on how it's pruned, but usually tends toward an oval-to-round form. Can also be pruned for espalier or patio tree. New leaves are bright bronze-red and mature to dark green. White flowers in spring (that some people consider unpleasant smelling); red fruit in the fall. Photo credit: Peter Hogg
