Rhododendron ‘Conlep’
Derived from the Southern Indica and Kurume, this encore hybrid is native to Louisiana. The encores' are the most sun tolerant of the azalea family. The Twist Encore is part of the large encore azalea class that is the star of the show with single blooms twice a year. White with bursts of deep pink markings, these disco beauties make excellent combination designs and work well independently as accents, foundations, or edge ornaments. Potential to occasionally produce solid purple blooms.
The Twist Encore is compact, known to attract butterflies, and very little pruning is required, deeming this plant a low maintenance variety.
