Chamaerops humilis
Even though it is a palm it can grow outdoors as far north as Southern New Jersey.
This slow-growing palm can grow to 15' HEIGHT. Take 10-15 years to achieve a height of 8'.
One of the most cold-tolerant palm species, withstanding even heavy frosts.
Cold hardy to 5-15 degrees F. A very good container plant.
