Rhododendron ‘Robleja’ PP16249
Derived from the Southern Indica and Kurume, this encore hybrid is native to Louisiana. The encores' are the most sun tolerant of the azalea family. The Sweetheart Encore is part of the medium encore azalea class that is triple the fun with single and semi-double blooms twice a year. Showering white with pink and lavender hues, these tricolor beauties make excellent combination designs and work well independently as accents, foundations, or edge ornaments.
The Sweetheart Encore is compact, known to attract butterflies, and very little pruning is required, deeming this plant a low maintenance variety.
