Vaccinium Ashei 'Star'

Southern High-bush cross between northern highbush and native southern species. Self-Pollinating; however, it will produce a heavier and earlier crop if Cross-Pollinated.  Cross-pollinate with Patriot blueberry.

Pollinators for the Star are: Patriot & Bountiful Blue. Higher tolerance to summer heat, even more than rabbit-eye. Somewhat greater drought tolerance than superior fruit quality in southern conditions.         * Deer May Browse *
