Multi-Blue Clematis is admired for its showy, variously blue-hued flowers. A spiky central tuft of stamens with red and blue overtones help make the very unusual looking blooms. This compact growing clematis matures at about 6'- 8'in length. Does well in containers.
Note: An initial key to growing Clematis successfully appears to be keeping the plant's root system cool. The most vigorous vines seem to result from 3-4" of good mulch, plenty of moisture, and protection from the hot afternoon sun.
