Heuchera 'Caramel'
All heucheras, or coral bells, are native to North America. All need at least some shade and well-drained soil. They are winter hardy where temperatures are mild but do require mulch. Grown primarily for their foliage, they also produce flowers on tall petioles that add height and an airy effect.
Make beautiful bed and border plants. Caramel actually comes from Southeast, so it is much more heat-and humidity tolerant than other heucheras. Its vigorous growth of honey-apricot leaves and clusters of light-pink blooms keep the shade garden colorful from spring through fall.
*Deer Resistant*
