Cytisus scoparius 'Burkwoodii'

This variety of Scotch Broom is native to central and western Europe, including the British islands. However, Burkwood's Broom grows to only about 5' tall and wide and bears bright rose-pink blossoms, with red and yellow coloration, from May to July. It requires both a sunny location and excellent soil drainage but will tolerate dry, sandy soil. The other more common variety of Scotch Broom is taller, more upright, and has yellow blossoms. *Deer Resistant*
