Ilex crenata ‘FARROWSK6’
A distinctive vertical evergreen shrub with an upright and narrow habit of growth; a superb choice for flanking formal entries and adds a level of dynamic interest to small gardens and patios; smaller, darker leaves further add aesthetic value
Ornamental Features: Patti O® Japanese Holly has dark green foliage. The small glossy oval leaves remain dark green throughout the winter. The flowers are not ornamentally significant. It produces black berries from mid fall to late winter.
Landscape Attributes: Patti O® Japanese Holly is a dense multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a narrowly upright and columnar growth habit. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage.
This shrub will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. It is a good choice for attracting birds to your yard.
