Rhododendron ‘Roblea’
Derived from the Southern Indica and Kurume, this encore hybrid is native to Louisiana. The encores' are the most sun tolerant of the azalea family. The Princess Encore is part of the small encore azalea class that is elegant with semi-double, ruffled blooms twice a year. With petals like fine blush wine, these rose pink beauties make excellent combination designs and work well independently as accents, foundations, or edge ornaments.
The Princess Encore is compact, known to attract butterflies, and very little pruning is required, deeming this plant a low maintenance variety.
