Vitis vinifera Cabernet Sauvignon

Small, spherical.  Black, very seeded.  Renowned red wine grape.  Cane pruning.  

Produces big clusters of tasty dark red grapes and superior wine. Cold hardy & disease resistant. Ripens: Late September to October.

Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Once established, water deeply, less frequently. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer. Provide support such as a trellis or arbor. 

Pruning time: winter. Prune annually to control size.
