The semi-double to double florets begin with creamy coloration in the center before maturing to intense pink. Acidity in soil can shift the color from pink to blue. Tolerates Full Sun IF consistent moisture is provided.
PRUNING: Dead-head spent flowers only, just after blooming is finished for the year. Blooms occur on new & old wood. Also,pPrune weak or winter damaged stems in early Spring. Native to Japan - referred to as 'the Tea of Heaven'
