Rhododendron 'Robleu' PP25074
Derived from the Southern Indica and Kurume, this encore hybrid is native to Louisiana. The encores' are the most sun tolerant of the azalea family. The Jewel Encore is part of the medium encore azalea class that is an introvert with single blooms twice a year. Rubellite pink, like the gemstone, these beauties make excellent combination designs and work well independently as accents, foundations, or edge ornaments.
The Jewel Encore is compact, known to attract butterflies, and very little pruning is required, deeming this plant a low maintenance variety.
